Salt Spray Test
Salt spray testing is a standardized corrosion test method, used to check corrosion resistance of materials surface. Materials, usually tested are metallic (although ceramics, stone, and polymers may also be tested) and finished with a surface coating that is intended to provide a degree of corrosion protection to the underlying metal. Applicable standards are ASTM-B117, ISO 9844. URS has a Salt spray test instrument with 1 m³ capacity and automated features that comply with International Standards.
